Gilberthorpe School will be having a talent show soon, Emily and I are going to be the hosts for this year. Later on in the week I will be putting some photos up.

Earth Facts

Today we have been learning about earth and nature. Today ewe had watched a clip about earth and nature and we had a question that the teacher gave us that we had to think about while watching here was my question: Will the sea ever run out of salt? Here is some of my research...

No, the Earth will not run out of water. That's because the amount of water is always the same — it just changes in form. Water from oceans, lakes and rivers evaporates into the atmosphere. ... Almost all of the water on Earth is salt water, and 77 percent of the fresh water is frozen at the Earth's poles.

Prototec 

Today The senior Hub did prototec for part of our maths lesson. One thing I would like to work on it grouping numbers to the highest 1000.  Here is my screenshot of my certificate.

Gilby Athletics Day

Last Friday Gilberthorpe School did there athletics. I had lots of fun. Here are the places I came: Shot put (1) sprints (2) high jump (2) long jump (1) discus (2). Here are some photos of our day:

Kapa Haka Performance

Yesterday the kapa haka group went to the Aurora Centre and did a performance in front of 800 people. I was very nervous to perform in front of lots of people.

Prototec Stage 6

Today the senior hub did prototec as one of our math activities. Here is a screenshot of my results. 

What I need to work on is grouping numbers to 1000, I would like to get %100 and try work on stage 7.
