In the film, Coraline, close up shots are used a lot in the film. For example, In the opening scene, we see a creepy doll floating out the window into mid-air. This was used to audience feel, more involved with what’s happening in each scene. The purpose of this was to show the audience the expression on the characters face and the tone of their voice. This worked well with the music and the lighting in the background of this scene, making it more interesting and have a scarier vibe to it. This reminds me of a sense more into the movie where there was a dutch tilt shot and the doll was secretly spying on Coraline, this shows that the doll was created to spy on children.

Arbor Day & Environmental Day
- Plant a tree ~ plant it where you will always remember.
- Do some gardening
- Read a book about tree's
- Volunteer at a local planting organization
- Created a school garden along the back of the school fence,
- Pick up rubbish around the community, and inside of our school.
