Last week we were lucky enough to have Ryan Neville come visit us. I made a presentation about him and what he taught us.

Creative Writing

The Life Of The Shoes...

Their gone, everyone get up! As all the shoes wake up and scatter round the house, "who's hungry" Grey asked "me" shouted everyone. As Grey was making pancakes for breakfast everyone was asking the house a mess! Grey turns around... "What on earth has happened in here!" everyone goes quiet, "Clean it up now before breakfast is ready!!" Grey shouted. 

Everyone has finished breakfast and cleaned up their mess. They were all laying on the couch watching their favourite show, Shoe tumblers. White hears a car pull up and moves as quick as he could to the window, he takes a sneaky peek outside of the window "everyone back to your places!" white shouts...

Music Update

For the last couple of sessions we have been doing music for, we have been focused on writing our script and putting our movie together. Our movie is based on the 3 little pigs, we have 6 people in our group which are Chloe W (pig), Keyana (pig), Anneleise (pig), Rory (wolf) and Brianna (Narrator), my role in this taking the shot for the movie, editing  and putting it into action. 

At the moment we are working on doing different parts of our video and it's almost ready for editing.

I'll keep you updated and when our movie is ready for presenting I'll post it for you to look and see what we have been upto...  

C. I. P Questions

Review on C.I.P

During our last 2 session's of C.I.P we have been talking about the community's we have around us. We then had listed some community's down and we joined a group we would like to be apart of and help that area out. 

• The community I joined was the Hornby Community as I know a lot about Hornby. 
• The reason I joined this group was because I live in Hornby and I would like to help out more for the good people in our community. 
• One of the idea's I'm interested in is doing fundraiser's and rasing money for good people in our community.
• I think we will archive this by working together and making sure that the task they have been assigned to you then they need to be done on time.

Movie Making Update

During our lessons with Mrs Hastie, Whaea Raewyn and Mr Cane, we have been learning how to create movies. Our first lesson was making one minute movies that we weren't aloud to talk in, it was really hard not to laugh or talk. Our next lesson was about making a movie that was at least five minutes that was either made up or a fairy - tale, me and my group are doing the tree little pigs. 

What we have learn't during these lessons:

• Music that goes into the movies

Our next steps will be putting our movies into action. BYE!

First Lesson of P.E

P.E Lesson 

Today's lesson was to practice our throwing and catching. We played two games today which were Bench ball and Silly banana's. Today I wasn't able to participate in this lesson because I was injured. While playing these games you have to have very good communication with your team. 

Bench Ball Rules: 

You have two teams playing against each other, the way you win the game is you have to throw the ball to your team and get your whole team onto the bench, when you have the ball your not aloud to move.  

Silly Banana Rules: 

It's a bit like tag, you have run around and make sure you don't get tagged by the person who's in if you get tagged you have to go into a shape of a banana standing up, then someone who's not in high fives your hands and then u can move around again.

Next time I will I will be able to try and get involved with the games and ask questions with the team.

One of our goals were to be a good listener:

• Showing the instructions told
• Stop, look and listen
• Ignore the people talking to you. 

Communication:

• Calling out names when your playing a game
• Using your manners
• Team Work 
• Using each others name 

What skills do I need to work on for my next lesson:

• Being more involved and having a can do attitude! 

I'm going to show commitment by:

One on One

Instructions: 

Week 7 Writing Task 1. Using your best Inference skills, make up a "back story" for this picture opposite, and write about it (this must be at least 3 paragraphs long). Consider: Why is the principal looking like that? Who is the lady and why is she looking like that? What has the girl been up to? Why does she have that expression on her face? 2. What would be a good title for this picture? 3.  Tell me whether you like this picture or not, and explain why you feel this way (this explanation must be at least 3 sentences long)

 My writing:

Sitting in Maths class and notes were being handed out by the teacher, she demanded we put them in our bags straight away. The bell was going to ring any second I grabbed my bag from under my desk and looked Charlotte and her girls in the eye. The bell rung and everyone rushed out to the tennis courts, it was the day…

Everyone surrounded me and Charlotte we were in a closed circle. I threw first punch but didn't get anything out of her it was turn for turn and she got the most out of me there was no bruise or mark on her… But me I was a mess I had a black eye and blood dripping from my head, shoe laces undone and my socks were down below my knee. The principal walked in to the tennis courts with a hi-viz as he was on duty that morning. He shouted “my office now Merry-Anne!” I grab my bag and barged through all these people I got to the main office and Carolyn the office ladie asked  “what are you doing in here it’s class time” I ignored her with a huge smile on my face.

I got the the principal's office and I sit on the uncombable red chairs outside Mr Main’s office. I wait and wait. Mr Main has just walked into the office and Carolyn disturbed him quickly “you have someone waiting for you down by your office sir” he replied in a grumpy matter “Yes thanks Carolyn I sent her that way”. He has now arrived at his office and I said “took you long enough” Mr Main shrugged his shoulders, ‘young lady what on earth do you think you are doing?  I am going to have to call your parents in for a meeting, I responded like I didn’t care “sure go ahead” Mr Main never liked the way Merry-Anne always had a smile on her face even knowing she was in really big trouble!

Mr Main stood up out of his black office chair and forced Merry-Anne out the door and told her to sit on the red chairs. Merry-Anne sat down and grinned at the door. Mr Main was in his office trying to get a hold of Merry-Ann's parents, both of her parents were at work. Mrs Cook answered the phone, “hello Mr Main is everything okay” Mr Main didn’t know what to say “Hi uhhh I need you to come down to the school please there has been some conflict with some girls at school and it’s serious” Mrs Cook was really shocked “sure I’ll be there right away”

It’s been 30 minutes and mum has just walked through the office doors she walks down the hall to make her way to Mr Main’s office she looks at Merry-Anne and drops on one knee “are you okay Merry-Anne what happened to you?” Mr Main heard Mrs Cooks voice so he walks to the door “Mrs Cook please come with me we need to sort this situation out” Mrs Cook was devastated. She followed Mr Main into his office. “Mrs Cook, Merry-Anne has been in a fight with some girls in this school Merry-Anne has started this and she needs to be punished for it” Mrs Cooks looks out the door and stares at Merry-Anne with a horrible stare. “So what the punishment” Mrs Cook asked “she is going to be suspended for 1 week we do not tolerate this behavior here at Burnside Girls” Mrs Cook was still shocked she walked out and yelled “young lady to the car now!”

If I had a chance to change the name of this, I would change it to: One on One.

I actually liked this picture to write this story. It was really interesting to write because it could of been a different situation if someone different wrote it.
