Reflect on term 4

Time To Reflect on the Year so far.

In Term 2 Gilberthorpe School went to the Marae  we also learnt to say or mihi's. Here is my mihi:

Ko Waimakariri te awa

Ko Ara Tū Whakatā tōku kura.

Nō otautahi ahau Ko Paul rāua ko Carol ōku tīpuna i te taha o tōku matua.

Ko Mark rāua ko Vanessa ōku tīpuna i te taha o tōku whāea.

Ko Nic tōku matua.

Ko Monique tōku whāea.

Ko Kaycee raua ko Cayleigh aku teina.

Jellie Park trip

In Term 2 Gilberthorpe School went to Jellie Park for our value play. We went to Jellie Park because Mr Wilkinson knew we all loved water.

 So far this  term and  last term we have been learning about healthy foods. After we learned about it Miss Waho went to New World and every $20 you spent you would get something to go in a little garden.

Sharing what we are doing this Term

This Term I am looking forward to learning more Maori and increasing the levels of maths and reading by the end of the Term, and then next year when I am a Year 6 I will be able to know what I need to know. 

Goals for this term:

1. To know my division and times tables.

2.To know lots of Maori.

3. To increase the number of books I read.
