In the last two weeks, we have looked at Resilience - Emotional Awareness (understanding emotions) and Impulses. I have come to realize that it doesn't help any situation getting angry at someone.
Being able to control my emotions in different situations avoids:
- Losing friends
- Having a healthy Social Well Being
- Getting angry.
- conflict
Knowing how to react and respond in situations rather than acting on impulses means that I'm not going to get myself in trouble for making the wrong move.
The effect is that these things have on my Social Wellbeing (Taha Whanau) when being friendly helpful and kind, your relationships become stronger, but on the other hand, you're being rude, unkind and disrespectful, your friendships won't be as strong as they if you were kind about any situation.
Today in Home Economics class we made Vegetarian Nachos. When I first looked at it I thought 'Disgusting'! but then once it was in the bowl ready to eat, it tasted great! Had a nice rich tomato smell, a very nice textured taste.
Last week the class made stirfry, I don't eat stirfry so I don't have a taste for it. But it had a really strong smell of sesame oil. Something that I heard that could have been better did not use 2-minute noodles.
